2. What is the most affordable Riding’times electric bike?

The Z8 is positioned as our affordable everyday electric bike. Its compact moped-style frame, single removable battery, 20×4-inch fat tires and front-and-rear suspension make it a practical starting point for first-time eBike buyers and casual riders.

Prices and promotions can change, so check the Z8 and Z8 Pro product page for the current offer.

3. What is the difference between the Z8 and Z8 Pro?

The Z8 and Z8 Pro share the same compact moped-style electric bike platform, 20×4-inch fat tires and front-and-rear suspension.

The Z8 has one removable 48V 15.6Ah battery and is the more affordable choice for everyday trips. The Z8 Pro has two removable 48V 15.6Ah batteries, providing greater total battery capacity for longer commutes, weekend rides and fewer charging stops. Compare Z8 and Z8 Pro

4. What is the difference between the Z8 and GT33?

Choose the Z8 if you want a compact, affordable moped-style eBike for everyday riding. The Z8 uses one removable 48V 15.6Ah battery, while the Z8 Pro adds a second battery for greater capacity.

Choose the GT33 if you prefer a larger café-racer cargo electric bike with an elongated saddle, cargo-oriented platform, removable 48V 27Ah battery and hydraulic disc brakes.

In short, the Z8 prioritizes compact everyday value, while the GT33 offers more battery capacity and cargo versatility. Shop Z8 · Shop GT33

5. What is the difference between the GT54 and GT54 Pro?

Both are compact electric mini dirt bikes with full suspension and hydraulic disc brakes.

The GT54 uses a 48V 27Ah battery and a 1000W rated motor with up to 2000W peak output. The GT54 Pro steps up to a 60V 25Ah battery and a 1500W rated motor with up to 3000W peak output.

Choose the GT54 for a more affordable, beginner-friendly introduction to compact off-road riding. Choose the GT54 Pro if you want stronger performance and a higher-capacity electrical system. Shop GT54 · Shop GT54 Pro

6. What is the difference between the GT73 and GT73 Pro?

Both models are dual-battery electric dirt bikes with pedals, full suspension and hydraulic disc brakes.

The GT73 uses two 48V 18.2Ah batteries and is positioned as the more affordable entry into long-range off-road riding. The GT73 Pro uses two 60V 18Ah batteries, providing 2160Wh of combined capacity, and is the flagship choice for riders seeking stronger adventure performance. Shop GT73 · Shop GT73 Pro

7. Which Riding’times electric bike is best for beginners?

The Z8 is a strong choice for beginners who want an affordable everyday eBike with a compact platform. For off-road riding, the GT54 offers smaller dimensions that can feel easier to manage than a full-size electric dirt bike.

New riders should begin in the lowest available riding mode, practise braking and throttle control in a controlled area, and wear a helmet and appropriate protective equipment.

8. Are Riding’times electric bikes suitable for teens and adults?

The GT54 and GT54 Pro are specifically positioned as compact electric mini bikes for teen and adult riders. Other models may also suit different rider sizes, but age alone does not determine fit.

Always compare the rider’s height, inseam, seat height, vehicle weight and ability to control the bike safely. Teen riders must also follow provincial age, helmet and permitted-use rules and should ride with responsible adult supervision.

9. How do I choose the correct electric bike size?

Check the published rider-height guidance, seat height, standover height and total vehicle weight for the exact model. The rider should be able to reach the controls comfortably, support the bike when stopped and handle its weight without difficulty.

If you are between sizes, contact support@ridert.com with your height and inseam before ordering.

Performance, Motors and Riding Use

1. Are Riding’times electric bikes street legal in Canada?

Not every Riding’times model or configuration is automatically legal on public roads throughout Canada. Provincial and municipal rules may consider rated motor power, motor-assisted speed, working pedals, braking equipment, vehicle weight, rider age, helmet use and vehicle design.

The Z8 and GT33 are supplied with a factory-set 25 km/h speed-limit mode. However, a speed-limit setting alone does not guarantee that a bike meets every provincial or municipal requirement.

Check the exact bike configuration and your local rules before using it on public roads or bike paths. See our Electric Bike Laws in Canada guide.

2. Can an electric dirt bike be street legal in Canada?

It depends on the exact vehicle and jurisdiction. A high-performance electric dirt bike may fall outside ordinary e-bike requirements because of its rated power, assisted speed, design or equipment.

The GT54, GT54 Pro, GT73 and GT73 Pro are performance-focused models intended primarily for off-road riding, private property and other locations where their configuration is permitted. Do not assume that they may be ridden on public roads, sidewalks or bicycle paths.

3. Which Riding’times models arrive in a 25 km/h speed-limit mode?

The Z8 and GT33 are supplied with a factory-set speed limit of 25 km/h. This provides a more controlled setup for everyday riding and first-time owners.

Local classification depends on more than speed alone. Confirm rated power, pedals, equipment, vehicle design and provincial or municipal requirements before riding in public areas.

4. Can I change my electric bike’s speed setting?

Some Riding’times models offer configurable riding or speed modes. Changing the factory setting may change the bike’s legal classification and where it may be ridden.

Keep the appropriate limited configuration active on public roads or paths and use higher-performance settings only on private property or in areas where that configuration is permitted. Follow the manual for your exact model.

5. What is the difference between rated power and peak power?

Rated power describes the motor output it is designed to sustain under defined operating conditions. Peak power is a higher short-duration output that may be available during acceleration or heavier demand.

When comparing an electric bike with local regulations, look at the rated or continuous motor power required by that jurisdiction—not only the larger peak-power figure.

6. Does the GT73 Pro use a mid-drive or hub motor?

The GT73 Pro uses an integrated geared rear hub motor with a fixed 5.2:1 internal reduction system. It is not a mid-drive motor and the 5.2:1 figure is not a five-speed transmission.

Motor power travels through protected reduction gears inside the rear hub and reaches the rear wheel directly. The bicycle chain remains available for pedalling but does not carry the motor’s driving force.

7. Why can two motors with the same wattage feel different?

Wattage is only one part of electric motorbike performance. Gear reduction, controller tuning, battery voltage, wheel size, vehicle weight, rider load and motor efficiency can all affect acceleration and climbing response.

Compare the complete bike and intended riding use—not just the largest wattage number.

Batteries, Charging and Range

1. Which Riding’times electric bikes have dual batteries?

The Z8 Pro, GT73 and GT73 Pro use dual removable battery systems.

The Z8, GT33, GT54 and GT54 Pro use single-battery configurations. Always select the correct model or variant before ordering because battery capacity and included charging equipment differ.

2. How far can a Riding’times electric bike travel?

Range varies by model, battery configuration and riding conditions. Speed, riding mode, terrain, hills, temperature, rider weight, cargo, tyre pressure, wind and frequent acceleration can all change real-world range.

Published maximum range figures are estimates under specific test conditions and should not be treated as guaranteed results. Choose a dual-battery model when greater total capacity and fewer charging stops are priorities.

3. How long does an electric bike battery take to charge?

Charging time depends on the battery capacity, remaining charge level and included charger. Use the charging information published for your exact model rather than applying one charging time to every Riding’times electric bike.

Always use the approved charger and allow the battery and charger to remain in a dry, ventilated area while charging.

4. Can I remove the battery for indoor charging?

Current Riding’times models use removable battery systems, allowing the battery to be charged separately from the bike. This can be useful for apartments, garages and winter storage.

Turn the bike off before removing the battery, support its weight securely and use only the approved charger supplied for that battery.

5. How should I store an electric bike battery during winter?

Store the battery indoors in a dry, temperature-controlled location away from direct sunlight, water, open flames and extreme heat or cold. Do not store it completely discharged for an extended period.

Check the model manual for its recommended storage charge and inspection schedule. Never open the battery casing or use an unapproved charger.

6. Can I ride a Riding’times electric bike in the rain?

Riding’times electric bikes should not be treated as waterproof. Avoid deep water, pressure washing, prolonged heavy rain and submerging the battery, display, controller or electrical connectors.

If the bike becomes wet, dry it carefully and inspect the charging port and electrical connections before charging.

Ordering and Payment

1. Is Riding’times Canada the official Canadian store?

Yes. Ridingtimes.ca is the Riding’times storefront for Canadian customers, with prices displayed in Canadian dollars and Canada-specific shipping, warranty, return and support information.

For the best product support, purchase through the official website and keep your order number, confirmation email and serial-number information.

2. Are Riding’times electric bikes made in Canada?

Riding’times Canada sells and supports products for Canadian customers, but this should not be interpreted as a claim that every bike is manufactured in Canada.

If country of origin is important to your purchase, contact support@ridert.com with the exact model before ordering.

3. What payment methods does Riding’times Canada accept?

Available payment methods may include major credit or debit cards, PayPal and Klarna instalment payments. Klarna eligibility and payment terms are determined by Klarna.

The payment methods available for your order will appear during secure checkout.

Riding’times may offer seasonal promotions and model-specific discounts. Enter a valid Riding’times discount code in the discount field at checkout.

Discounts may have product, date or combination restrictions. Review the promotion terms before completing your order.

Shipping, Tracking and Delivery

1. Does Riding’times offer free e-bike shipping in Canada?

Riding’times currently offers free shipping on e-bike orders delivered within Canada’s 10 provinces.

Shipping is not currently available to Yukon, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut or certain remote island locations. A physical street address is required because e-bikes cannot be delivered to PO boxes or military addresses.

Review the current Shipping Policy before ordering.

2. How long does delivery take?

In-stock e-bikes are generally processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days. Delivery typically takes another 5–7 business days, depending on the destination, carrier operations and weather.

Preorder and backorder estimates are shown on the relevant product page. Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.

3. How can I track my order?

After the carrier receives your order, an email containing the tracking number is sent automatically. You can follow the shipment through the Riding’times tracking page or the carrier’s website.

Check your email address carefully at checkout and review your spam folder if the tracking message does not appear.

4. Will someone need to sign for my e-bike?

A signature may be required because an electric bike is a high-value shipment. Arrange for someone to be available at the delivery address.

If you authorize the carrier to leave the package unattended, the package may be exposed to loss, theft or weather damage.

5. Is warehouse pickup available?

Pickup availability, timing and location can depend on current inventory and warehouse operations. Do not travel to a warehouse until Riding’times has confirmed that your order is ready and provided the pickup instructions.

Contact support@ridert.com before placing the order if pickup is important to you.

6. What should I do if my e-bike arrives damaged?

Photograph the outside of the box before opening it if you see any damage. Keep the original box and packaging, then take clear photos or videos of the bike, damaged area, shipping label and serial-number label.

Shipping damage or missing parts must be reported to support@ridert.com within seven days of delivery. If tracking shows delivered but the package cannot be found, contact support within three days.

Assembly, Maintenance and Parts

1. Does my electric bike arrive fully assembled?

Riding’times e-bikes require final assembly and a complete safety inspection before the first ride. The required steps differ by model and may include installing or checking the front wheel, handlebar, pedals, brakes and other components.

Use the instructions for your exact model on the Assembly Videos and Manuals page. If you are not confident completing the work, ask a qualified bicycle or e-bike technician for assistance.

2. What should I check before my first ride?

Confirm that the handlebar, wheels, pedals and fasteners are secure. Check tyre pressure, brake operation, battery locking, display operation, lights and steering.

Begin in the lowest available riding mode in a controlled area. Do not ride if any component is loose, damaged or operating abnormally.

3. Where can I buy replacement parts and accessories?

Shop model-specific items through the Riding’times Accessories collection. Confirm compatibility with the exact model and production version before ordering.

For an unlisted replacement part, email support@ridert.com with your order number, bike model, serial number and clear photos of the required component.

4. Where can I get my Riding’times electric bike serviced?

Routine mechanical work may be completed by a qualified bicycle or e-bike technician familiar with hydraulic brakes, tyres, suspension and electrical systems.

Riding’times also maintains a Repair Shops page with listed service locations. Contact the shop before visiting to confirm that it can service your model and required repair.

Warranty, Returns and Customer Support

1. What warranty comes with a Riding’times electric bike?

Electric bikes purchased directly from the official Riding’times Canada website include a two-year manufacturer’s warranty for qualifying manufacturing defects, subject to the published terms and exclusions.

Batteries have a one-year prorated warranty. Normal wear, accidents, misuse, unauthorized modifications, water damage, improper assembly and third-party parts are not covered.

Read the complete Warranty Policy before ordering.

2. What information is required for a warranty claim?

Email support@ridert.com with:

  • Your order number;
  • A clear description of the issue;
  • Photos or video showing the problem;
  • The motor serial number for motor-related issues;
  • The battery production label for battery-related issues.

Visual evidence helps the technical team identify the problem and provide the correct solution or replacement part.

3. Can I return an electric bike?

Eligible return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery. The current policy distinguishes between unopened products and opened bikes that remain in like-new condition with less than 15 km of use.

Shipping deductions apply, and an opened eligible product is also subject to a restocking fee. Products exceeding the time, mileage or condition limits may not qualify for a personal-reason return.

Review all conditions and deductions in the Return and Refund Policy before riding the bike.

4. Can I cancel or change my order?

An order may be cancelled or its address changed without charge before a tracking number is generated.

After tracking is created, the order is considered shipped. Address changes may be unavailable or subject to carrier fees, and a post-shipment cancellation is currently subject to a C$250 shipping fee.

Contact support@ridert.com as soon as possible if a change is needed.
